I use oil and acrylic paints, some watercolor and charcoal, very few solvents and odorless mineral spirits.
I'm fairly new to the area so I'm open to suggestions if you know of resources for new artist/residents.

If your son or daughter has a talent or even an inclination toward the arts, don’t let them lose it! No matter what level of art they are, I can offer structure and motivation, while still keeping sight of what’s really fun: creating.
You can choose the medium to work with: acrylic paints, watercolors, charcoal, even oils! We can start with some basics in color theory and technique, but the primary goal is to have fun, not only to have an art class. As you can see, my specialty is portraiture, but we'll work on still-life and landscapes first.
