The WD-73734 is a mammoth 73-inch DLP (Digital Light Processing) rear-projection HDTV from Mitsubishi that is perfect for a large home theater system.
This unit was manufactured in Sept 2007, but has been in storage since January, 2008 and has seen very little use. Best Internet price available = $ 3,399, I'm selling for $1,299. Local delivery/pickup only.
Because the Texas Instruments 1080P DLP chip is inside, this television yields the full 1920 x 1080 high-definition resolution with progressive scan. With a television this size, offering more than two million pixels is important to prevent visible pixelation.

Despite the large screen size, the WD-73734 weighs less than 100 pounds and is only 17.5 inches deep.
The television can display any video signal that is connected to it. When a 1080p signal is the input, it passes through with no down conversion: The 1080p signal is maintained from beginning to end, giving the best picture quality. When a lower resolution is detected, whether it is 720p HD or a DVD, the signal is automatically scaled to display at 1080p, with minimal side effects and a very detailed picture.

The screen is huge and the technologies are many, but the unit itself weighs less than 100 pounds and is only 17.5 inches deep, which means it will fit into many decors.

More Color
The WD-73734 incorporates a slew of new technologies that combine to give this television the most realistic color reproduction available on the market today. The x.v.Color standard is supported, which dramatically increases the color space available, with 80 percent more color than standard HDTV.

Coupled with this technology is Mitsubishi's exclusive 6-Color Light Engine, which uses six primary colors instead of the traditional three to create more colors. Mitsubishi's Color 4D Noise Reduction, PerfectColor, and PerfectTint yield a wider color palette and the ability to fine tune the set to your exact preferences. Connections Galore
You don't need to worry about running out of connections with the WD-73734. It has a total of four HDMI 1.3 inputs with Simplay HD certification, three in the rear and one in the front, so you can connect your Blu-Ray player, HD DVD player, and still have two inputs left over. If you do not use an amplifier like this one and you instead use just a cheap "splitter", your signal strength gets cut way down which makes your tv picture or fm radio signal much weaker.

This great 30W woofer will let you hear lower bass punch than you've ever before experienced. If you want the ultimate system, this is the foundation. It would be ideal for a home audiophile system and also for winning auto car system competitions.

This 30" woofer is far more efficient than smaller woofers in radiating low bass energy because its massive size gives it among the highest values of radiation resistance ever. So, less than 50 watts into it will be enough to put out bass down to about 20 Hz that will be as loud as you can stand hearing.

This woofer was sent to the Electrovoice factory to be completely re-built to brand new specs with cost being no object. The factory replaced the cone, voice coil, spider, and outer surround with all new parts and then tested the unit to ensure it performed like new. The speaker worked before this restoration, but I had the factory replace all those parts because I wanted all the moving parts to be brand new just for the sake of being brand new. Plus, I wanted the factory to run all the tests on it that they run on a new speaker and to guarantee this woofer performed within or exceeded all design paramters. Since then, it has been stored in my house inside its own custom built all wood storage/shipping container and never used other than approximately one hour that I spent testing it myself when it came back restored by the factory.

The outer surround is a reliable accordian style (shown below in one of the photos). No unreliable foam is used. The 30W woofer weighs approximately 85 pounds. Another photo shows it bolted face down in its storage/shipping container.

I purchased these at Tweeter in Framingham, MA for $1299.00. The LS Series was the last to be made in Maryland before Polk went to Mexico for inferior production. The LS-70's are not the Polk Audio of today. Present day Polk speakers are mediocre at best. The LS Series was a very refined speaker. These are Classics in A-1 mint condition. AUDIO PHYSIC "AVANTI CENTURY" SPEAKERS, made in 2000. A very limited producton, audiophile speaker from Germany, designed by Joachim Gerhard. Unique, ultramodern design. Made without grilles, to show off the exotic & beautiful birdseye maple finish on all sides. They're as much a work of art as they are a speaker. The cabinets are tall, slim & deep, so they take up minimal wall space, yet they have (2) side-mounted woofers in each cabinet, so they still produce all the bass you want, with no need to add a seperate subwoofer. They slant backwards to create proper time alignment, so the low & high frequencies reach your ears at the same time. These are from a recent estate liquidation, and were part of a $40,000 2-channel stereo system, which had a combination of solid state amps & tube preamp. These speakers & most of the other components were bought from Spearit Sound in Northampton. Near-perfect cosmetic condition, except for several small dings, confined to one 5" x 1" piece of plain maple trim, on the top front edge of one cabinet (see picture). Those could be filled in, or you could have a cabinet maker replace the piece. If not for that, the asking price would be much higher.

Fantastic sound, whether you use solid state or vacuum tube type, amplifier/preamp or receiver. Great for listening to jazz, classical, folk, pop, rock, vocal music, etc. They're wonderfully transparent. Whatever was recorded, you will hear it, with no distortion or coloration. Deep, layered & well-defined soundstage. Great bass definition & overall dynamics. Excellent handling of even the loudest, fastest transients, in the highs & the mids & even in the bass as far down as 30 Hz. Audio Physic's company motto is "No loss of fine detail". The original "Avanti" model was first marketed in 1989, followed by the "Avanti Mark II" several years later. The "Avanti Century" was a millenium edition from 2000, that improved upon the first 2 versions. If you Google "Audio Physic Avanti Century", you'll find an excellent, in-depth "Sounstage!" review from 3/2000 by Grant Samuelson. He says, "the Century's image definition and soundstaging capability has no peer that I have encountered anywhere near their $8,000 retail price." If you search eBay, you probably won't find another pair for sale anywhere in the USA.

i have a couple of bose lifestyle 8/9/12/25 and 30 subwoofers they will work with any of these lifestyle systems with the correct connecting cord they all power up and work the issue with them is that the treble is not adjustable on them it is set in a high position so that they sound nice and can be used as they are and sound good $60 each inexpensive way to get a nice sub they include the power cord i may have the connecting cord to the cd unit for $25 each

It works great. It has the WMA -MP3 port, and if I can find the wire to hook up to your ipod/mp3 player I will throw it in. It is 50 watts to each speaker.

I believe it needs a new color wheel, which retails for about $150, and a handy person could change in about two hours. Sorry, no pics, as I'd like this to go ASAP. TV has no picture right now, as I believe once light wheel is changed, it will run fine.
